Barry Van Allen - Falsies

Alice had a looking glass,
and Alice saw too much,
the more she saw,
the less she knew.

The less she knew,
the more she thought,
then wanted too much everything,
and soon was over-wrought.

Alice chased a rabbit,
down a hole into what couldn't be,
just to see - - -
what she could see.

Poor Alice, ended up unhinged,
and in a major fantasy,
which only proves that tongues and grooves,
can be momentary memories.

Alice came to understand,
after many years of therapy,
that there is more to life than dreams,
... and things aren't always what they seem,
or what we think that they should be.
