Here we are, in numbers, lost underneath
a sky that is festooned with gentle periwinkles
crying for the wounds that the clouds conceal
and in the creases, we know more than we do not
Days passed in recollections of the nights
where the smoke that filled our lungs strode
its way to an avenue of moonlights –
our lips kissing the ethereal lightness
We are a titivation under the canopy
and inside phantom walls, sadness cried
in carousing pride despite the absurdities
we are several, endless worlds in a finite galaxy
Here we are, witnessing the biggest stars
forging memories to shy the bragging scars,
sharing blunders and leisures and follies,
bending smiles for the forgotten maladies
The biggest stars sipping on a glass of wine,
waltzing in drunkness and cheating time
and they sing of songs behind their cigars,
they burn in yellow and white, they burn in flight
Because we rocket from minutiae ambers to nebulaes
and bid farewell to forgetting because our way
is oblivion in dancing where lips are silent
but the feet remembers every beautiful thing.
