I loved with all of my heart and
As with love it still fell apart
Oh the way the pain played with my heart
Because I knew how poorly I played my part
Crushed by the wheel of burning desire
I lived for years in her smoldering fire
So naïve I confused pleasure with pain
And I took some refuge in becoming insane
Until a new fuel found me and added me to her fire
And we went through everything even the fire
It was too late when I found out her love needed more than desire
Now I live in an icy world surrounded by those ancient perpetual fires
