He asks a ransom for the kidnapping
Of my kisses
And then prepares to flee
To Costa Rica (and recover) ...
Leaves me not at the roadside,
But safe inside my own sanctuary...
And disappears into the darkness
Of December
Causing my thoughts to paint a portrait
Of his bare chest, breathing.
