Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly accepted an invite by US President Barack Obama. Modi will be visiting Washington in September to hold bilateral talks with Obama. The move signals the end of a nine year freeze by the US after it denied Modi a visa in view of the 2002 riots. Modi will be meeting Obama along the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meet in New York.
