After seven days in detox, I came to Sovereign Health, and everyone was warm and friendly. There was paperwork, but someone was there to help me with it. The administrative and medical staff and the house managers have all been fantastic. They keep us busy all day at the house with structured activities. That's good for me, because I don't have time to get off the program.
My therapist is great, she helps me think about my thinking. I feel like I am given direct one-on-on attention, not only during scheduled sessions but any time I need it. We have a great psychiatrist and counselors, too. The anger, family relations and cognitive therapy groups are fantastic. I've gained a lot of tools that help me deal with my issues. There is a lot of wisdom and experience that has been shared. I think sovereign Health is doing a great job, and I know they are making changes to do an even better job. Truly and honestly, I would recommend it to any of my family members or friends if they had a dual diagnosis problem like I did.
