A man and his two best friends are currently taking part in an extremely long journey on foot. Luke Robinson’s two buddies are his dogs, Hudson and Indiana.

The 43-year-old and his pooches are trekking from Canada to Mexico for one purpose – to raise awareness pertaining to canine cancer. Robinson launched the national organization known as the ‘Puppy Up Foundation’ after his Great Pyrenees named Malcolm passed away in 2006 from the disease.

On May 10th, Robinson set off with his furry pals. Tagg GPS tracker collars have been placed on the pooches so Netizens can follow their progress online.

Robinson is also updating their route on his website. Together, they’ll be venturing approximately 2,000-miles along the West Coast.

The trio will travel from town to town in an effort to garner attention and educate fellow canine owners about the disease that kills over 4 million dogs per year. Robinson remarked “We hope to encourage people to come out and walk a mile, walk a day, or walk a week with us since all of us have been touched by cancer.”

This journey isn’t the first for the man and his pets. In 2008, they trekked across the East Coast.
