Justin Bieber has apologized for a racist joke that was revealed in a recently posted online video. A British tabloid published the clip, which was recorded five years ago and shows a young Bieber telling a joke that uses the N-word. Bieber took to Twitter to apologize, saying, "As a kid, I didn't understand the power of certain words and how they can hurt."
Bieber's been getting a lot of bad press recently. He was accused last month of attempted robbery following media reports that he had tried to snatch a young woman's mobile telephone.
He's also due to stand trial in Miami on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and using an expired license.
And in February, Bieber was charged with assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto.
