FOCUS - Thailand: The 'Red Shirts' stronghold in times of martial law

2014-05-30 1

Following the military coup in Thailand, our reporter Cyril Payen travelled to the north of the country to find out what life was like under martial law. They met with the poor, rural masses, known as the Red Shirts, who unconditionally support the ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinwawatra. Our reporters found that the movement's local leaders are being hunted and detained by the military.
