Four people are now confirmed dead after a shooting at the Jewish Museum in Brussels on Sunday, May 25.

Authorities say the suspect parked a car in the upscale Sablon area and then headed towards the Jewish Museum carrying two bags, one of which contained at least one automatic weapon.

At just before 3:30 in the afternoon, surveillance footage shows the gunman quickly enter the building housing the museum and firing an AK-47-type automatic rifle through the doorway. He then entered the building and fired several more times.

After quickly placing the weapon back in the bag, the man escaped. Belgian police are searching CCTV footage to determine which way he then headed.

Four people were killed in the attack, including two Israeli tourists, a French national and a Belgian museum employee. Belgium has launched a nationwide manhunt for the killer.

Police released these images and a video of the suspect and are calling on any who might have information to come forward.
