Neighbours of the 22-year-old suspect in Friday's California killing spree have spoken of their shock that he could have carried out such an attack.
Elliot Rodger's the prime suspect in the shooting and stabbing of six people in Isla Vista before apparently killing himself.
One neighbour, who didn't want to be identified, says Rodger seemed a solitary figure.

"I figured, come on, there has to be one person who knew him. There had to be one person who knew him, talked to him, like, has anything to add. One person like, maybe, to defend him or say I know what he was going through. Not a single person."
Another neighbour said Rodger appeared to have problems in his personal life.
