When you think of the world’s wealthiest actors, many names come to mind, but surprisingly, one of the richest actors on earth isn’t exactly who you might expect.
In fact, you may have never even heard of him before. His name is Shah Rukh Khan.
The 48-year-old Indian actor is a big name across the country. Commonly referred to as the ‘Tom Cruise of India’, Khan specializes in Bollywood films.
He’s been appearing on both the big and small screen in India for decades. He hasn’t done too badly in recent years either.
In April this year, at the 15th Annual International Indian Film Academy's Weekend & Awards held in Tampa, Khan received a nomination for the ‘Best Actor’ category for his role in ‘Chennai Express’.
As for the wealth aspect, research company Wealth-X dug into that with a compilation that reveals the ‘Top 10 Hollywood And Bollywood Actors.’
The master of nothing, Jerry Seinfeld, took the top spot with $820 million and Khan came in right behind him with $600 million. Tom Cruise landed the number 3 spot with $480 million followed by Tyler Perry and Johnny Depp rounding out the top 5.
Jack Nicholson, Tom Hanks, Bill Cosby, Clint Eastwood and Adam Sandler landed the remaining spots.
