ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
U.S. President Barack Obama shunned his usual traffic-stopping convoy in favor of a stroll down the National Mall in Washington D.C. on Wednesday (May 21).
Surrounded by secret service agents and officials, Obama took a leisurely walk around the mall, enjoying the warm weather.
He stopped occasionally to greet bystanders before heading to the Department of the Interior ahead of a planned event at the venue.
