The investigation was reportedly launched shortly after a photo surfaced online featuring Smiths’ 13-year-old daughter, Willow laying in bed next to 20-year-old actor Moises Arias.

According to RadarOnline, the couple is being questioned by Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services. The investigation was reportedly launched shortly after a photo surfaced online featuring the Smiths’ 13-year-old daughter, Willow lying in bed next to 20-year-old actor Moises Arias.
The picture started making the rounds online earlier this month. What followed was backlash from Netizens who deemed the image as inappropriate given the age difference between Willow and her male companion.
It didn’t help that Arias is shirtless in the photo. Jada defended the picture, claiming it’s an innocent snapshot and people were blowing things out of proportion.
An unidentified source with knowledge of the case told RadarOnline - “The investigation was formally opened last week and is being taken very seriously by the department. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been extremely cooperative with officials. Of course, they aren’t happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand.”
