Opposition at Punjab Assembly staged a protest over development funds and torn down the copies of the agenda. The opposition also demonstrated by sitting-in by speaker’s dais. Government approved as many as four bills amid all the protests.
Opposition resorted to protest over lack of issuance of development funds during the past one year. When opposition tried to raise the issue through an adjournment motion at Punjab Assembly, the speaker Sardar Sher Ali turned them down. After which, it turned to a protesting row.
