Double blasts in Nigeria kill at least 118

The destruction is everywhere.

Charred wreckage is all that remains as smoke rises in the Nigerian city of Jos.

Emergency officials say back-to-back blasts have killed at least 118 people and wounded 45 in a crowded business district.

As officials rushed to the scene, there was no immediate claim of responsibility.

The attack appeared to bear the hallmarks of Boko Haram insurgents.

The militant group has set off bombs across the country in an increasingly bloody campaign for an Islamic state.

As the city begins to mourn, the blasts remain under investigation.
