A Santa Rosa, California mother of three stormed into this elementary school last week and caused a commotion that ended with her being charged with felony child abuse.
Delia Garcia Bratcher went to Olivet Elementary around lunchtime last Friday. She found her son and asked him to point out a boy who had been tormenting her daughter, who also attends the school.
She then stormed through the school looking for the bully. Once she located the boy she thought was tormenting her daughter, she proceeded to grab him by the neck in front of his friends and tell him to stop bullying her daughter.
Garcia-Bracher was arrested shortly afterwards and subsequently released on $30,000 bond. After an initial investigation, the Sonoma County Sheriff's office said that the bezerk mom may have actually grabbed the wrong boy, since they couldn't find a "nexus between the kids.
