No, this is not a video designed to spread paranoia, however, as a citizen of Mississauga I really have no idea how our water supply works. I want to know what level of chlorine is being used to shock and clean out our water, and I want to know more about what the city is doing to look at alternative methods of water treatment. Since nobody in city hall seems to know anything about the water system in the city, I'll be bringing in independent film makers to make documentaries about our water supply and how it's been handled in the past, so that I and YOU know everything we need to about our water in Mississauga.
I want to know what I am drinking. I want to know what it costs me for each glass I pour, and I want to know why it costs me that. I am tired of hearing the phrase "I don't know" when I ask these questions of people who are paid three times what the average Mississaugan is paid. The difference? The average Mississaugan works for their money, the city employee spends time reading their job descriptions to find ways not to work.
Remember people, if you vote Crombie or Mahoney these secrets will remain secrets. There will be no secrets with me in office -- NONE.
