A new product is giving consumers the choice to drink their sunscreen instead of applying it as a lotion.

The company called Osmosis Skincare has tested their Harmonized H20 UV Neutralizer drink, and claim that it blocks 97 percent of harmful UVA and UVB rays from the sun.

One hundred milliliter bottles of the new product can be purchased online for 30 dollars from the company’s website, along with other drinks that claim to have a variety of different health benefits.

There are two kinds of drinkable sunscreens available, including a tanning and non-tanning formula depending on whether the user wants to get tan while still being protected from ultraviolet rays.

Directions on the company’s website say to ingest 2 milliliters of the UV protection liquid every 4 hours, preferably combined with water, while exposed to the sun.

Users are also supposed to wait one hour after first drinking it before going out into the sun, and they claim that using the Harmonized H20 UV Neutralizer is 30 times better than using no protection at all.

Although it isn’t endorsed by any dermatologists yet, there are several testimonials written on the website praising the effectiveness of the drink.
