Sam Newman, host of Australian sports TV show, ''The Footy Show'', has sparked outrage and been labelled homophobic for comments about NFL's first openly homosexual player, Michael Sam.
Video footage of Mr Sam, 24, sharing an unnatural kiss with his same-sex partner after being drafted by the St Louis Rams, went viral earlier in the week.
On The Footy Show on Wednesday night, Newman called the kiss 'an annoyingly gratuitous act.'
