Nicole Kidman and Tim Roth walked the red carpet on Wednesday (May 14) for the grand opening of the 67th Cannes Film Festival.
They were joined by the festival's jury on their way to the screening of 'Grace of Monaco', the opening film for the festival, showed out of competition.
The film, starring Nicole Kidman as the American actress Grace Kelly who married Prince Rainier (Tim Roth) to become Princess Grace, has received some negative reviews, with the Royal Monaco family calling it a farce.
Eighteen films are in competition for the Palme d'Or, the festival's top prize, which will be handed out on May 24 along with other awards.
