USA: ANN COULTER MOCKS #BRINGBACKOURGIRLS CAMPAIGN
Well known American political commentator Ann Coulter, who is famed for her conservative views, has been in the midst of a social media storm over the past few days. And here`s why; she posted this selfie to her Twitter page on Sunday holding a sign saying #bringbackourcountry. The pic came with a sarcastic comment mocking the #bringbackourgirls campaign currently underway calling for the release of the hundreds of kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls. Her tweet has sparked lively reaction online.
Many have taken to the web sharing their outrage, saying the post is in very poor taste. Social networkers are slamming Ann Coulter`s attitude, saying she will do anything to get people talking about her. They say the pundit should have kept quiet for once, and are making their contempt for her very clear.
Some have decided to give Coulter a taste of her own medicine and have been posting parodies of the controversial selfie. These satirical offerings see the commentator holding signs reading “bring back my soul” or saying she`s a miserable person.
