Trumpets blare at a North Korean children's camp.

A so-called international children's camp is reopening its doors following a renovation.

The camp was reportedly built in 1960.

This video provided by the North's state news agency, whose content Reuters cannot independently verify, shows North Korean children and teachers at a ceremony.

Children take part in a group dance and peer into an aquarium.

The schools boasts an indoor swimming pool and gymnasium as well.

What looks like a girl's dorm room has a wide screen TV and pink sheets on the beds.

The U.N. last year reported that malnutrition remained high in North Korea -- leading to stunted growth in children.
