In the Prologue, Professor Barton spoke to Harris once in the hallway and sent the statue to Professor Sullivan at the Metropolitan Library. After making those decisions, Helen becomes the main protagonist and discovers that her hard drive had crashed. After getting Beth to ask Danny to repair the hard drive, she steps out and meets Assistant Inspector Gotts at the Police Station, Kay and Edward at the Hotel and Professor Sullivan at the Library. Helen returns to the University and decides to take a nap before beginning her dissertation. Rose is taking a nap in the Lounge and awaiting Baker for a late-night rendevous. Helen warns her not to use the University as a motel and takes her nap after turning off the light. Suddenly, she is awoken by a strange knock at the door...
