After taking directly on the Election Commission in a rally in Asansol for turning a blind eye to poll rigging in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar & West Bengal, BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi went a step further. Modi dared the Poll Panel to register an FIR against him for his comment. The BJP PM nominee has received sharp criticism from his political rivals. But questions arise whether the Election Commission has appeared soft and ineffective in this highly charged political season with several notices being issued, but little action taken.
