Hollywood's lucrative summer blockbuster season has begun.
And with it --- The Amazing Spider-Man 2" -- crashing into first place on the box office charts.
It netted $92 million in ticket sales over the weekend. And it's expected to be one of the year's highest-grossing films.
Girls will be girls… and "The Other Woman" is no exception.
The comedy -- featuring three crafty women plotting revenge on a cheating husband -- finished a distant second with $14.2 million.
And in third place, the faith-based drama "Heaven is for Real."
Created after a best-selling Christian book, with a boy who says he saw heaven during surgery.
The box office chart spoke loud and clear, with half man, half spider firmly dominating all others.
