Britain's Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas have ended their two year relationship, according to media reports.

The split ends recent speculation the couple could soon announce their engagement after Bonas joined the Prince at a public event in March for the first time.

The two were seen kissing and hugging at the 'We Day UK' charity event in London, which was attended by 12,000 young people from across the UK.

A few days later Bonas joined the monarch yet again during England's Six Nation's rugby match against Wales.

Commentators interpreted their public display of affection as a sign that their relationship had turned more serious, fuelling wedding speculation.

Bonas was first introduced to the Prince via his cousin, Princess Eugenie back in 2012.

Despite the reports over the end of his relationship, Prince Harry showed no signs of strain on Tuesday as he joined injured British servicemen trying out for the Invictus Games in September.
