Could it be true? Hollywood's most eligible bachelor is to marry?
Well if media reports are to be believed then George Clooney is now engaged.
The lucky lady? 36-year-old British-based human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin.
According to various U.S. publications, Alamuddi was spotted last week leaving a Los Angeles restaurant wearing a large engagement ring.
In London, Alamuddin's law firm confirmed the engagement sending the couple the following message:
"The barristers and staff of Doughty Street Chambers offer their best wishes and congratulations to Ms Amal Alamuddin, a member of Chambers, and Mr George Clooney on their engagement to be married."
The two-time Oscar winner has been married once, but since his 1993 divorce from wife Talia Balsam has remained one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors.
