Farooq Abdullah, a union minister and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, while addressing a rally on Sunday, had said: "Pray to God to save us from communal forces so that we can move forward. India cannot become communal. If it becomes communal, then Kashmir will not remain with India. Communalism is not acceptable to Kashmiris.They say those who do not vote for Modi should go to Pakistan. Those who vote for Modi should drown in the sea.
Hitting back, Modi said: "If we want to talk about secularism, then I want to say, we are secular not because the word was added to the Constitution. We have believed in Sarva Pantha Sambhav. We believe the truth is one and there are many ways to reach it".
