A Russian Proton-M rocket has successfully launched from Kazakhstan today, April 28th 2014 at 04:25 UTC. The rocket carried the Russian Luch-5V satellite as well as the Kazakhstan KazSat-3 satellite into orbit.
This was the first launch of the Phase IV Proton-M and the 396th overall launch of Proton.
