STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama arrived at Osan Air Base in South Korea on Friday (April 25) as part of a tour of Asia with the North Korea issue high on the agenda, as the country grieves over the ferry disaster.

Last Thursday (April 17), President Barack Obama expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the South Korean ferry accident and said the U.S. military will provide the country with any help it needs to perform rescue operations.

More than 300 people, mostly high-school students, have died or are missing and presumed dead after the April 16 disaster.

Pyongyang is expected to be a major topic on the agenda for talks between Obama and South Korean President Park Geun-hye which is set for this afternoon.
