In an interview with EW, the series creators said the music featured in the video is the "Blood Ties":
"So the musical Blood Ties is a little local Toronto musical that was in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, and had been mounted by friends of our assistant, Mackenize. So we took a look at the script and took a look at some of the songs on YouTube and it was eerily paralleling Alison's predicament."
