Streep honored, Lorde postpones concerts

Meryl Streep hit the red carpet in New York. The veteran actress was the recipient of the 14th annual Monte Cristo Award from the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. The award is given to those who show outstanding support for American theater. The three-time Oscar winner attended the National Playwrights Conference at the O'Neill in 1975 and acted in five plays. She was joined on the carpet by last year's honoree Michael Douglas and wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones.
