One Chinese fireman seems to enjoy going against the grain. Footage has been released online, showcasing the man bravely carrying a flame engulfed gas cylinder out of a fire damaged restaurant in Wuhan.

It’s well known that firefighters have a risky job, but typically crews do everything they can to limit the danger.

One Chinese fireman in particular, seems to enjoy going against the grain. Footage has been released online, showcasing the man bravely carrying a flame engulfed gas cylinder out of a fire damaged restaurant in Wuhan.

To sum it up, the video is scary. The firefighter hugged the cylinder next to his body, while the flames were left flickering dangerously close to his head and shoulders.

As he ran outside, the man placed the burning tank on the ground and stepped back as his co-workers doused it with a hose. His brazen method of battling fire was just recently brought to light when pictures of him running with the cylinder surfaced on a Chinese micro blogging site.

The images soon gained popularity among Netizens, leading to the release of the video. The fire actually occurred on January 3rd of this year.

While some people are wondering why he decided to carry the tank outdoors rather than extinguishing it inside the already-destroyed restaurant, others claimed it was to keep the tank cooled down in a safe area while the gas burned off.
