Shinobu Tajima, 22, was busted for robbing a convenience store in NIshinari ward, Osaka, Japan around midnight last Saturday.

While the suspect held up the 52-year-old clerk at knife-point closest to the cash register, another salesperson in his 30s began haggling with him. When the suspect was asked "Have you got any kids?", he threw away his knife and started sobbing. Then, he burst into tears. He was later arrested by the police who rushed over to the convenience store, after the alarm had been tripped.

The two store workers escaped without any injuries and no money was taken from the store. The suspect later confessed that he was pinched for money and he couldn't feed his kid and wife.
