A male aged in his mid-40s was arrested this week on suspicion of violating copyright law after posting online nude pictures of former Olympic snowboarder, Melo Imai. He has confessed to all charges.
In February the man scanned eight nude pictures published in weekly magazine, FRIDAY, and posted them to his own blog for all to see. In doing so he likely profited commercially from the increased traffic to his site.
The photographer who took the racy photos filed the copyright complaint in March.
