A mother in the UK is now sharing her story after she and her children found themselves in a nightmarish dilemma. Helen Clements had taken her two kids to the Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire.
While cruising through the enclosure, the family’s vehicle started to overheat and quickly caught on fire.
One of the rangers picked up the family in another vehicle, while others focused on clearing the lions from the reserve. Clements and her kids were driven to safety, the flames were extinguished and none of the animals were harmed, so in the end, everything worked out for the best.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Clements commented "I can laugh about it now as it's only a car and we're all safe. You laugh at the funny side of it now. But of all the places - why the lion enclosure?"
