The qualification criteria made it difficult to achieve the results that they needed. We identified this quickly and stopped the campaign, refunding the unused hours. Although things didn't work out as planned, the client was pleased that it was resolved quickly and costs were minimised. We'd rather do the right thing by a client than continue a campaign that is not working.
