While various cricketers have given Bollywood a shot, the latest to jump on the bandwagon is Dinesh Mongia. Wondering what he is upto now?
Well, Dinesh is all set to make his debut in a Hindi comedy movie. And interestingly, Mongia will be laying tribute to the legendary star Amitabh Bachchan in the movie. With no acting background, the player attended a 3-month workshop to prepare for the role - Be it Big B's look, dialogue delivery, baritone voice, clothes and mannerisms, everything had to match.
Dinesh essays the role of an income tax officer, who is a diehard Amitabh fan. He will enact Bachchan's iconic 'Yeh Kya Hai - Chappal, Kaunsi - Kolhapuri' scene from 1979 film Suhaag.
