The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their tour of Australia on Friday (April 18) with a visit to the Bear Cottage children's' hospice and a beach in the Sydney suburb of Manly.
Bear Cottage treats children with what they call life-limiting conditions and Prince William met bereaved families while Catherine, who is also known as Kate, met patients and their parents in the playroom.
Kate, who is involved in children's hospices in the UK, joined a music therapy session in the garden and congratulated the hospice for work she described as 'life changing,' and also thanked them for the invitation to see their work.
"If I may I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's welcomed me and George so incredibly warmly on our first visit. To be here as a family has been very special and we'll always remember it as such a happy memory. Thank you for inviting us here and for such a generous welcome," the Duchess said
