Royals get puppy love before New Zealand trip wraps up

The British royals, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lapped up some puppy love on their last leg of their New Zealand trip.

The couple visited Wellington's Royal New Zealand Police College where they fussed over two German Shepard puppies -- police dogs in training.....with fashion-loving Catherine asking whether they ate all your shoes!

They also witnessed first hand what it was like to be on the other side of the law...as some of the cadets demonstrated their techniques in aprehending criminals.

During the visit Prince William and Catherine took time at the Memorial Wall to acknowledge police killed on duty and laid a wreath at the wall.

Baby Prince George may not have been in attendance he wasn't forgotten.

Kate was handed a toy puppy and there was also a baby-sized police T-shirt for the third in line to the throne.
