The New York Post recently reported that prostitutes are allegedly using apartments rented through Airbnb as places to entertain their clients.

They were told by an anonymous source that the escort agency she works for rents private homes through the site, as the apartment-sharing service offers some distinct advantages.

The source said, “It’s more discreet and much cheaper than The Waldorf. Hotels have doormen and cameras. They ask questions. Apartments are usually buzz-in.”

To capitalize on those perks, the escort agency allegedly staffs the week-long rental with several sex workers throughout each day so they can provide 24-7 service.

The escapades don’t always go unnoticed by those who offered up their homes.

Not long ago, Jessica Penzari posted her West 43rd street abode on Airbnb.

Penzari told the Post she rented her place to a woman who claimed to be in the Army and about to deploy.

She believed her until the police called.

They told Penzari that there had been an incident in her home involving a prostitute an angry client, and an injury.

When Penzari returned, she found the place littered with baby wipes and condoms.

Airbnb paid to replace several items and replace her locks.
