A twenty-one-year-old man in Sichuan province, China, was arrested last week after making failed attempts to rob two jewelry stores. Last Friday, the man attempted to rob a jewelry store while holding a kitchen knife still wrapped in paper. The customers and employees were unstirred by his actions as they all thought he was merely playing prank. He walked out of the store and returned again with the unwrapped knife. He successfully grabbed a few pieces of jewelry, but was ultimately subdued by male staffers.
According to a police investigation, the man had targeted another jewelry the day before, but the robbery was a repeat of Friday's story.
