A woman in Pleasant Grove, Utah is now facing murder charges after the deceased bodies of 7 infants were found in her former home. The accused, 39-year-old Megan Huntsman, moved out of the residence in 2011.

Her ex-husband, who is now living in the home, recently contacted police after finding a full term infant stashed inside a box. Law enforcement secured a search warrant and scoured the house for additional evidence.

They found six more infants hidden inside differing containers. Police believe Huntsman gave birth to each of the babies before murdering them at different times between 1996 and 2006.

Police say her ex-husband, who has been identified as Darren West is not a suspect in the crimes and also claim they do not think he had any knowledge of what was going on. However police Capt. Michael Roberts did say investigators were looking into how he could have been oblivious to the murders.

All 7 infants were sent to the Utah medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death. DNA samples were taken from both Huntsman and West to determine the biological parents of each child.

Huntsman has been booked into Utah County Jail. No motive for the murders has been released.
