Family and friends say goodbye to Anya Niedringhaus, the Associated Press photojournalist killed in Afghanistan more than a week ago.
Her funeral was held Saturday at a monastery near her birthplace of Hoexter, Germany.
With messages of mourning on display, she was remembered for her strength and resilience.

Niedringhaus and her colleague, correspondent Kathy Gannon, were attacked by an Afghan policeman.
The two were in a remote town on Afghanistan's border with Pakistan to cover last week's elections.
The AP says Gannon's condition remains stable.
