When's the perfect time to rob a bank in Houston, Texas? Apparently when customers have are listening to a holiday choir performance.

That's just what a Houston bank robber the FBI has dubbed the "Ebenezer Scrooge Bandit" did on Wednesday, according to a report by the Houston Chronicle.

The suspect entered the Chase Bank on Houston's Main Street during the holiday concert and slipped the teller a note during the performance demanding cash.

"He approached the teller and presented a demand note as well as verbally demanding cash," said Houston FBI spokeswoman Shauna Dunlap, according to the report. "He got away with an undisclosed amount."

The crowd's attention was apparently completely focused on the Christmas caroling and nobody was hurt during the incident and apparently the concert wasn't even interrupted.

"It's not uncommon that others go about their business and don't realize what has occurred," said Dunlap.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. He was described as a man in his 30s with a medium building and weighing roughly 170 pounds.

According to the Houston Chronicle report, a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information that leads to the suspect's arrest.
