Police in Washington State are on the hunt for a crazed driver who shot up a young woman's car in a highway road rage incident in Tacoma last Sunday afternoon.
Kaitlyn Young said she was driving along Interstate five near Fife when she noticed a gold 1990s Buick tailing her.
She said the Buick then pulled alongside her and the driver, described as a slim black male, started yelling at her through his open window before whipping out a pistol.
Young sped up and that's when he opened fire, hitting her vehicle six times.
A terrified Young then moved to the center lane as the Buick sped off.
Without her cellphone, she decided to drive on for another 20 miles to her boyfriend's house in Renton, from where she called police.
Police hunting for the suspect have searched the highway for bullet casings and are reviewing highway surveillance camera footage in an attempt to identify the suspect's car.
