A woman came into Lamb’s Grill with a purpose, and when waitress Jasmine Beck approached her, the unnamed woman had something astonishing to say. According to Jasmine, "She starts in and says, 'My father dined and dashed here in 1941'". The woman proceeded to tell an incredible story about how, when her father was ten years-old, he dined at the venerable Salt Lake City institution with a friend, but when the bill came he and his friend skipped out on it. Now, her father, who is now in his 80's, has been racked with guilt ever since the dining crime. The most amazing part? The bill that he and his friend didn’t pay was exactly one dollar.
