At the 9/11 Memorial Museum in Manhattan, there’s a wall bearing a quote taken from Virgil’s Aeneid. it says: “no day shall erase you from the memory of time”. Though the museum stands by its use, many scholars and people feel the quote was taken out of context and is inappropriate for the memorial.
