A group of children was recently hospitalized after they were reportedly served alcohol at a pizza restaurant. The troubling incident unfolded at the ‘Home Run Inn’ located in Chicago.

All the affected kids had been part of a birthday party held at the establishment. The police were notified after a woman who attended the party witnessed servers whisk away the children’s drinks without an explanation as to what was going on.

The cups were supposed to contain regular fruit punch, but somehow an error was made and all of them were filled with booze.

One mom who was there claimed some kids were vomiting and others were wailing. She commented:

"Everybody makes mistakes, but why would you just come and snatch the cups up, and not say anything to the parents of these kids that you just served alcohol to?"

Conflicting information is being released regarding the number of kids who were transported to the hospital but it appears as though about 10 were taken as a precaution. Fortunately, they were all said to be in good condition.
